In addition to our patient panel, Hereditary Brain Aneurysm Support is looking for 4-6, genomic, research and third-sector experts to join its advisory panel.
As part of our new Governance team, the role of the Panel is to individually and collectively advise HBA Support on topics and issues that impact the strategy and direction of the organisation.
Why join the panel?
This is an amazing opportunity to shape the future of a brand-new patient-focused organisation working to support those affected by the rare disease – and you’ll have a vital impact on the work we do.
As a newly formed and fast-evolving CiC, it’s vital we work hand-in-hand with researchers and the clinical community. As an advisor, you’ll help us deliver on our mission to boost awareness of the rare disease, improve patient care and ultimately save lives.
We’re building an organisation based on expert counsel and advice, which will help us to provide a platform for people impacted by the hereditary condition to be heard- and you can help us make this happen!
What's involved?
Does this sound like you? We’ll meet on an ad-hoc basis, and more formally twice a year (virtually). Advisors will be consulted and given time to consider their viewpoints and advice on relevant issues. All advice should be given on a pro-bono basis.
You will be required to read some papers in advance of meetings. There will occasionally be electronic communications and work required between meetings. It is anticipated this role will take between 0.5 and 4 hours per month.
