Take on our 30 FOR 30 challenge for Brain Aneurysm Awareness Month

Throughout the 30 days of Brain Aneurysm Awareness Month this September, we're inviting people to take on a personal 30 for 30 challenge, to support the 1 in 30 people estimated to have an unruptured brain aneurysm, to help us grow awareness, save lives and raise vital funds to support people and families affected by brain aneurysms.

Brain aneurysms are more common than many people realise. Around 1 in 30 people may have an unruptured brain aneurysm, and most will not know they are at risk. Ruptures are rare, but they can be life-changing or life-threatening. When aneurysms are found early, they are often highly treatable.

For some families, brain aneurysms can run through generations. By taking part in 30 FOR 30, you will help HBA Support raise awareness, provide trusted information, grow peer support and be there for more patients and families when they need us most.

Challenge Ideas

Whether that’s a 30 mile walk, or a mile a day with your dog, bake 30 cakes for your colleagues, swim 30 lengths, do 30 squats a day, crochet 30 blankets, play 30 games of bingo, jog for 30 minutes or walk around the block 30 times - whatever your skills or interests, there is a 30 for 30 for you.

Every step, stitch, swim or smile makes a difference and every penny raised helps us be there for more patients and families who need support, information and connection. Your effort can change someone’s story.

Send us your photos, videos, stories, fitness screenshots or Strava summaries, or share them on social media and tag us.

Three simple ways to sign up

Sign up in August ready for Brain Aneurysm Awareness Month in September by:

As soon as you register, you can ask your supporters to donate through our 30 for 30 donations page, and link it to you by including your name in the donation message.

Or, if you would like it to be more personal, you can set up your challenge donation page and share with all of your friends, family and colleagues to support you by donating there.

Then continue to share throughout September as you take on your challenge.

If you would rather just make a one-off donation, for example £30 for 30 days, then this can be made through our donation page. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated.

If donating in memory of someone special, please include: "Donation in memory of [Name]" so we can recognise memorial donations appropriately.
