Fundraise for HBA Support

How To Fundraise

Fundraising is a powerful way to support HBA Support while having some fun, engaging with your community and challenging yourself.

Set Your Own Challenge

Whether you're running a marathon, hosting a bake sale, or organising a community event, your efforts make a huge difference.

We have a Local Giving Charity page set up, where you can also easily create a linked fundraising page:

  1. Visit our Localgiving charity page.

  2. Click on "Fundraise for us."

  3. Register a supporter account, or log into your account if you already have one with Local Giving.

  4. Follow the prompts to set up your fundraising page.

If you need support, we are more than happy to help, please get in touch at support@hbasupport.org.

Once your page is live, we'll be notified and can support your fundraising journey with social media and newsletter mentions. Please contact us for branded resources such as banners, t-shirts and running vests. We may also ask if we can feature you on our Fundraising Heroes Gallery.

Match Funding

Did you know you could double the impact of your gift without raising a penny more?

Many employers offer match funding for employee donations or fundraising efforts. That means if you raise £100, your employer might match it—turning it into £200 for HBA Support. Ask your HR department if they offer a matching gift programme. Let us know if we can help with any paperwork!

Fundraising Events

Why not join us in one of our fundraising events?

When we have events we will post them here, or sign up to our newsletter to stay up to date with events as soon as they are announced.

Thank you so much to Zoe, who ran the London Marathon on Sunday on behalf of HBA Support in loving memory of her friend Kirsty. Zoe finished in a staggering 4 hours and 15 minutes and has so far raised so far over £6600. A wonderful achievement and an amazing legacy for Kirsty.

Play our Local Charity Lottery

Do you want to support HBA Support and have some fun along the way? Why not play our local Charity lottery? We will get 40% of the ticket sales bought and you'll get a chance to win up to £25000.

Tickets for the lottery cost just £1 a week. Each ticket has a 1 in 50 chance to win a prize each week, with a top prize of £25,000! There's a better chance of winning the jackpot than the National Lottery or the Health Lottery.

Each ticket has six numbers and each number is between 0 and 9. There will be a draw every Saturday night when a six digit winning combination will be picked. Prizes will be given to players with tickets that match the first or last 2 to 6 numbers from the winning combination. Match all six and you win the jackpot!
